My 2018 New Years Resolutions

January 02, 2018

Happy New Year Everyone!
It's crazy how time flies, and suddenly we are at the dawn of a new year... 2018. I am very excited for all the new and wonderful things to come and I hope that you all have had a lovely time in the festivities of the past week or two.

Today I am sharing about my goals, which is something that I have come to realise that I really enjoy doing. Every year I have shared my New Years Resolutions, and every year they have gotten more elaborate and far-fetched. However, they never last and I never put them into action, so its kind of a flop. This year I want to be different (emphasis on the "want") and I have made plans to do so, which hopefully I can share in more detail in a later post. I am focusing this year on making improvements in my life, socially, academically and physically, and that is a shown in the resolutions that I have made this year.

I always separate my resolutions into categories so that if I want to focus on a particular part, then I can improve in that area.

So here are some of my resolutions;

Hang out with my friends monthly
Go or travel to a new place monthly
Go to the cinema or to the theatre monthly
Eat out with someone at least 5 times
Reach Out to my friends and family more often
Read 52 books
Do 2 reading challenges
Read a book in a different language
Read 3 classics

Health and Fitness
Be able to do the splits
Be happy with my body
Get at least 7 hours of sleep every night
Drink at least 1l of water every day

Keep on top on notes
Participate in school activities
Hold an event
Be late for form registration less than 3 times a term
Get all homework done on time
Get all 5’s at the end of the school year.
Stick to my ‘Plan of Action’

Write in a diary or journal every day
Write a play
Start a bullet journal
Write a gratitude journal
Do NaNoWriMo or Camp NaNoWriMo

2017 was a tumultous year; a lot changed, I learnt a lot and I have a mixture of good and bad memories, but I want 2018 to be a good year. Maybe the best year ever.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout 2017, throughout my blog and since the beginning of time. I am incredibly grateful to all of you and wish you the best in 2017.
