What's in My Pencil Case? | Back To School

September 03, 2017

So I definitely have slacked off with the Back To School posts, but I wanted to share this one. It's a little random, but I am doing it for two three purposes;
A) to remember what I put in my pencil case because by the 19th of September I can promise you I will have lost 62% of the objects in this pencil case.
B) One of my pet peeves is when people don't have, let's say, a pen, on the very first day of school. I honestly don't understand how people can do that.
C) To help any of you lovely lot who want to know what I have dans ma trousse (I need to get that French vocab practise in, lol)
This pencil case is featured in both my "What's in My School Bag" and my "Back to School Haul" (in a different colour). A lot of the items featured in this post are also featured.  Check out my youtube channel here!

Pencil Case: I bought this blue polka dot pencil case from Home Bargains for 99p! Then I proceeded to purchase it in all the other styles and colours, because that is simply what I do :)

I sort of both did and didn't go for a theme with my stationery. I bought a pink pencil case originally but after seeing all the blue supplies I had, I went a purchased the blue one for a complete look.

Pens: 3 Blue, 3 Black and 1 Red (Poundland, £1 for 20. I bought them last year but they might still be in stock! They are 2 for £1 and come in packs of 10)
Foldable Ruler: I have a Helix Foldable Ruler which I didn't use that much last year. It was cheap though and I prefer foldable rulers as they can fit in pencil cases. I think I spent £0.50 in Home Bargains on this.
Neon Ruler: Available in Home Bargains now for £0.39, I think.

10 Coloured Pens: These were a gift from my Uncle a while back, when I was revising. I am afraid that I don't know how much they cost, but they are from ASDA and I think that they will be very useful for annotations in English and DT.
Tippex/ Correction Fluid: I saved this one from last year but added some nail varnish remover to it to get rid of the lumps (such a life saver!) I put a band of washi tape around it too because I am extra :D
Never buy Tippex for more than £1. If you do then you have been conned.
Scissors: I have had these for TIME. Bought them from IKEA, so much better than cheap school scissors.
Pritt Stick: No other glue is as good. I would recommend Pritt Sticks over anything else. No supermarket brands, nothing. Always Pritt Stick. School glues are rubbish. Get your own. Spend £1 and buy a Pritt stick. (Do you see how passionately I write about this? I know from experience)
Mechanical Pencils: I love writing with sharp pencils but mechanical pencils don't crumble, they don't break as easily, they are retractable (so they don't ruin your pencil case). I picked up two from ASDA. They had blue, but I chose to get grey.
2 (McDonalds) Pencils- I had to add some standard, HB Pencils.

Mini Stationery Set- £1 from Poundland. Comes with mini scissors, 2 rolls of sellotape, paper clips, a stapler, a staple remover, a pencil sharpener and a small pack of staples.
An Eraser: A simple classic.

This post is a lot longer than originally planned, but I hope that you all found this post helpful!
